600 year old Big Leaf arbor (Gushu)
Sheng (Raw) Puer
Every spring 小許 (xiǎo xǔ) and his father go to Jingmai Shan to oversee harvest/ puer production at two ancient tree groves. First flush from well-loved, never over-picked, trees.
This one has a stronger Qi than the Secret Garden, Sr., which is more fragrant. The true ancient tree character of this tea is evident in the Qi and the taste, but especially in the leaves' strong lingering scent. Note how long the fragrance remains in the bottom of your teacup. And note the strength of the bag smell wherever it's stored.
Very mild bitterness, sweet cream, fruit, forest musk
